Integration

An AI scheduler for Apple Calendar

Pace connects to your iCloud calendars over CalDAV, two-way

Connect iCloud with an app-specific password and Pace reads and writes your Apple calendars over CalDAV: the same calendars you see on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

How it works

Plays nice with Apple Calendar, doesn't take over

iCloud over CalDAV

Apple has no sign-in button for calendars, so you generate an app-specific password at account.apple.com and paste it in. Takes about a minute. Same calendars you see on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Two-way, like Google

Pace writes the plan's sessions into the first calendar on your iCloud account (or into Google, if you connected that first), and sees when you move or delete one.

Works with shared and family calendars

If it shows in your iCloud calendar list, Pace can read it, and you choose which ones count.

Setup

Takes about a minute

  1. 1 Go to account.apple.com, Sign-In and Security, App-Specific Passwords, and generate one named Pacecal
  2. 2 In Settings, Calendars, choose Apple and paste it with your Apple ID email
  3. 3 Pick which calendars Pace should see
  4. 4 Done

Common questions

Do I need a Mac to use the Apple Calendar integration?
No. It works with any iCloud account, iPhone-only included. CalDAV does not care which device you own.
Why does Apple need an app-specific password?
Apple's security model. Rather than giving Pace your Apple ID password, you generate a separate one just for Pace that you can revoke at any time.
Does this work with shared family calendars?
Yes. If the calendar shows up in your iCloud calendars list, Pace can read it.
